Beyond the canonical 51 Shakti Peethas, a number of temples of the Devi draw some of the largest pilgrim crowds in India. Several — such as Ambaji, Tara Tarini, Kolhapur's Mahalakshmi, Chamundeshwari, and Vaishno Devi — are counted among the Shakti Peethas in the wider 52- and 108-site traditions, while others are simply great regional shrines of the Goddess. This circuit gathers these revered Devi temples together so they remain discoverable alongside, but distinct from, the canonical 51.
