This section is still to be written by the author. It will set out background and experience with Jyotish. Until it is written it is deliberately left blank rather than filled with claims — on a page whose purpose is honest provenance, an invented credential would be the worst possible content.

On what astrology can do

This site treats Jyotish as a structured tradition with a long literature, internal rules worth learning, and no demonstrated predictive power under controlled conditions. Both halves of that sentence appear throughout. Nothing here tells anyone what will happen to them.

How this material is written

• Every page is written by one person and re-read by the same person before it goes live. The site records that as a review, and it is worth being precise about what that means: it is a deliberate second pass, not independent verification by a second editor.
• A page cannot be published without a named author. That is enforced in the publish gate, not left to habit — advice-adjacent content published anonymously gives a reader no way to weigh it.
• Nothing publishes below a length threshold, and anything under it is served with a noindex directive and kept out of the sitemap. A thin page is worse than no page.
• Every claim about a classical source names the text. Where something widely presented as ancient is in fact modern — the "Egyptian zodiac", Kaal Sarpa Dosha — the page says so.
• Limitations sections are required, not optional. A page listing only what a system is good for is marketing, not an encyclopedia entry.

What this site will not publish

• No lifespan prediction and no longevity calculator. A page that tells a person when they will die is harmful regardless of the tradition it cites.
• No health diagnosis, no claim that any gemstone, rudraksha or ritual acts on a disease, and nothing that discourages medical treatment. India’s Drugs and Magic Remedies (Objectionable Advertisements) Act, 1954 names exactly this, and an automated check runs over every page before it can publish.
• No compatibility score presented as a verdict on a relationship. The traditional method is documented and explained; it is not offered as a decision.
• No face-reading tool. Physiognomy’s principal historical use was arguing that human worth is legible from faces, and that is not a thing to build.
